I found the jQuery validation is very good! Moreover, that is very easy to customize the error message. You just need to put the message in the "title" attribute.

I am building a Joomla Component. I found there are some Javascript errors in core.js when I click the actions. I have found out these two variables are required.

Moreover, the form needs to be named as adminForm. That is because core.js has some javascript to do the validations. It will access your form.

When I install a new plug-in, I got this error:
"JFolder::create: Could not create directory plug-in"
Later, I found out the cause. The parameters in configuration.php are not configured correctly.
Please make these two lines in configuration.php pointed to the correct directory.

I found some friends who are not in MSN for years. But yesterday, they suddenly came online again! They are always online too! Moreover, their MSN photo changed to a sexy girl. They will send me a "Happy Holidays" message too! Then they will send another message asking about dating. I know those friends well, these should be their actions. I think their accounts hacked. Be aware!

There are a lot of rumors said Google will release Nexus Tablet very soon. I am not sure that is true or not. But I found Google need to have a flagship tablet. I have a lot of friends switched to Android Phone camp from iPhone. But in the tablet side, most of the people are still using iPad. I believe Android tablet has not won much in tablet market share.
In addition, I am an Android App developer. We have a dev phone which is Nexus One. That is a standard to follow. But we still have a dev tablet yet!

I found Acer will release their new Tablet, Iconia A200. That is cool. It has Android 4.0. I hope it will get more market share. Moreover, finally, its design is not too boring. We can choose Titanium Gray or Metallic Red.

I installed the Google PageSpeed. This is a good tool to optimize my websites.

It will give me a score of my website. Moreover, it will draw advice for fine tuning too! That is very cool!

This week, my friend brought her computer to see me. Her computer can load up a Windows starting screen for a few seconds and it got a blue screen with an error message, "Unbootable Boot Volume". That doesn't seem like a hardware failure, because it can load the start up screen. I found a Windows Vista Setup DVD. I loaded it up. After the first screen which asks me to choose the language, there is a screen with the option for Recovery Console. Then I selected it this one. After that, I chose the Command Prompt. Then I typed "chkdsk C:/r". Then "Waiting.....". After an hour, it scanned the disk and repaired the files damaged. I removed the DVD and rebooted it. It works again!

I found RSS is not very presentable format. That is very hard to read. A few days ago, I found a good android app, Feedly. It fixed this problem. It used a magazine style interface to present the RSS. That is very good.

It has some build-ins RSS feeds which is in wide range of topics, such as IT and Business. Also, you can link it with your Google Reader. That is so cool!

In addition, not just the feed is presentable. The interface to view individual item is cool too!

Yesterday, I connected my A500 to my computer. I can do some debug works in this tablet. That is not Plug and Play. You have to download the USB driver in acer. Please select tablet-> Iconia TAB-> A500. After you installed the driver, then the tablet is set to enable for debug and plug-in the tablet via USB. That will works fine!

I got a lot of spam from the Joomla contact form, I need a captcha plug-in. Actually, there are a lot of anti-spam plug-in in Joomla. But they are fairly complex, some of them even have a custom-build contact form. That is too much.
After I spent some time to research on the internet, I found a plug-in calls Joo ReCaptcha. That is very simple. After I installed that, the contact form will have ReCaptcha image under the input fields. That is great!

I went to the training event for Windows Azure Platform as a part of Bizspark camp. That is a great event. Thank you, Microsoft. They organized this event for the start-up like us.
The sessions are very useful and informative too! The speaker, Steve Nagy, did a great job. We got a lot of information about Azure today!
I am interested to use Azure SQL and Compute. They are Platform as a Service. Basically, I just need to deploy the website via Visual Studio to Azure Compute and run SQL in Azure SQL. They will handle all load balancing and OS Patching. That is good for the start up companies like us. We have not a dedicated server team to do those things I can scale in or out the Azure Compute instances when the load of website changes.
The most interesting thing is Azure SQL. For Azure Compute, they charge the number of instances you used and the size of each instance. But they only charge the storage of database in Azure SQL. They will do replication and load balancing behind the scene. They won't charge CPU Usage. I don't need to scale up the server when the load is increasing. Azure SQL should give more CPU and memory resources to the SQL server I use. They can handle the load without charge. That is good for web application will query the database a lot and run some expensive queries.
